Should Plot Start and Plot Boost still be used if the soil is more Alkaline?  In my case above 8.0

It depends on what you are planting. While a soil test result may show an 8.0 pH , nutrients may still be unavailable to the plant. PlotStart would help in this, but the desired pH is 7.0 so we recommend not applying PlotStart, but instead focus on the ability of your plants to pull nutrients from the soil. For this, we recommend PlotBoost – the foliar active spray. This will help your plants instead of turning all of the attention to your soil.
