Wisconsin food plot – I planted too much corn last year and I think I can leave some of it for a second year. Will it spoil? Will the cornels stay on the cob through the summer so it is a good food source for deer next winter? Is this  good idea?
Thanks for your help.

Yes, it will spoil, the best thing to do is replant for this spring and summer for next fall and winter. Also, look into double-cropping soybeans and fall plots or broadcasting cover crops in cut corn fields if you go that route. We have an excellent blog on cover crops in our PlotHeads Blog.
